Love and Communication

Love and Communication is an award-winning feature drama from Writer / Director James J. Christy, following a family navigating an autism diagnosis, school advocacy, treatment decisions, and the emotional strain of staying connected.

I built out a digital launch system across the film website, brand guidelines, trailer edit, streaming announcements, festival email campaigns, key art presentation, and audience engagement assets.

Branding

I created the visual identity for Love and Communication, developing the logo, key art, and brand system used throughout the film's marketing and distribution efforts.

By establishing a cohesive visual language across the website, promotional materials, email campaigns, and audience communications, I helped position the film for festival screenings, audience outreach, and its eventual streaming release.

Website Strategy, Design & UX

I designed and built the official website for Love and Communication, creating a centralized destination for audiences to discover the film, watch the trailer, locate upcoming screenings, explore award recognition, and access streaming platforms.

Built as an extension of the film's visual identity, the website served as a key component of the digital launch strategy, supporting audience engagement throughout the film's festival run and commercial release.

Film Editing & Motion Graphics

I contributed to the film's post-production and promotional efforts through editing, color grading, and motion graphics design.

In addition to producing trailer and marketing assets, I refined visual sequences, enhanced footage through color correction, and developed motion graphics that helped elevate the film's presentation across both promotional and audience-facing content.

Email Marketing & Audience Engagement

I developed email campaigns that supported the film's festival screenings, award announcements, and streaming release.

Through targeted audience communications, promotional announcements, and release updates, I helped maintain engagement with supporters while driving awareness of new screening opportunities and distribution milestones throughout the film's launch lifecycle.
